Summary0001049: [SWAN]Malfunction during booting sequence(HDMI and tick audible noise)
DescriptionHi Sean

We found malfunction during booting sequence.
Sometimes HDMI and sometimes tick audible noise, sometimes both of them.
I attached live file and waveform, log capture.
This issue was noticed from SKB, and they were worried because this issue is very critical.
Please investigate and solve with your SW team.

 After checking, we found that the audible pop noise is the same issue as in mantis 1046.

We made a workaround and committed to avoid this issue. But the root cause is still under investigation and we asked Synaptics to check and fix it.(Syna Jira-76)

Synaptics JIRA 76 was already cleared(How to check audio passthrough mode is enabled or disabled).

 Hi Lonnie,

    Sorry. It's typo. The correct Jira number in Synaptics is SKBSBALT-79
However, could you provide occurrence percentage and TV monitor brand and model name ?
